IGNOU Exam form December 2023 – The Indira Gandhi National Open University publishes the link on its official website to fill up exam application form online.

The University’s December 2023 Term-end Examinations are set to commence on December 1, 2023, and will conclude on January 6, 2024, spanning a period of 30 working days. An online portal has been made available for students to submit their examination forms, including those for Term-end Examinations, Project Submissions, and Practical Examinations, for the December 2023 Term-end Examination.

Detailed schedules, as well as comprehensive instructions and guidelines for submission, have also been provided. Students are strongly encouraged to submit their examination forms promptly through the online portal, adhering to the instructions provided.

22nd October 2023 is the last date to fill up examination form without any late fee.

Beginning with the admission cycle of January 2023, the University has implemented Project Evaluation Fees and Practical Examination Fees for programs that encompass Project and Practical components. This policy change was formally conveyed through a notification vide No. F.No.IG / SED/ Practicals/ Projects/2023/12295 dated 07.03.2023.

Consequently, students who were admitted in the January 2023 cycle are now required to submit the prescribed online fees for Project Evaluation and Practical Examinations, in addition to the fees for the Term-end Examination, through the dedicated online portal. This change reflects the University’s dedication to improving the quality of education and the assessment process for its students.

Important Points related to IGNOU December 2023 Term End Exam Form

Students are encouraged to complete the examination form for the December 2023 Term End Examination based on the following criteria:

  1. First-Year and Re-Registered Students: This applies to all students who registered for their first year or re-registered for their second/third year during the January 2023 session for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs.
  2. January 2023 Session Registrants: If you enrolled in any courses during the January 2023 session for Diploma and PG Diploma Programs, you should fill out the examination form.
  3. July 2023 Session Registrants: For Certificate, PG Certificate Programs, and all semester-based programs, including those registered in the July 2023 session, examination form submission is necessary.
  4. Incomplete or Unattempted Courses: If you have any courses for which you haven’t completed the term-end examinations or haven’t appeared for them yet, you should include these in your examination form.
  5. Result Pending from June 2023 Examinations: Students who participated in the June 2023 Term-End Examinations for previous semester/year courses but haven’t received their results by the examination form submission date may apply for these courses later on, once the results are declared. This is applicable if you did not successfully complete the term-end examinations for any of these courses.

In essence, make sure to fill out the examination form according to your enrollment status and include any pending courses as mentioned in the guidelines.

Earlier, the university allows the students to apply for examination via online as well as offline. But now, the offline method of Ignou exam form submission has been closed.

IGNOU Term End Exam Form submission is done only via online method only.

The university conducts the term end examinations in the month of June and December for all its programmes such as Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Certificate and Advanced Certificate, etc.

The various programmes under these categories for which the students fill up examination form December 2021 are as follows: BDP, BA, MBA, BBA, B.Ed, M.Ed., Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (BSCN(PB)), MCA, BCA, MA, B.Com, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Com, MSW, BSW, MTM, BTS, etc.

IGNOU Exam Fees & Last date of exam form submission

For IGNOU tee exam December 2023, students have to pay the fee of Rs.200/- per course for which they are going to appear in the upcoming examination. The total fee has to be paid by online mode of payment only. They can either pay their exam fees by Debit or Credit Card.

Earlier, the students had the option to pay their fee via bank demand draft (DD) as well but now it is not allowed.

Note: The University reserves the right to reschedule or cancel examinations or papers at any time, either across all examination centers in the country or in specific examination centers or states due to unforeseen circumstances or other reasons.

How to pay IGNOU exam fees online?

The students who are newly enrolled in Indira Gandhi National Open University sometimes find it difficult to understand the process of filling up application form and submitting exam fee online.

Students can submit the completely filled-in form at the concern regional center in their city or they can directly fill the form online. Also, it is very much important to submit all the related solved Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) before submitting the term end examination form.

Otherwise, the examination hall ticket will not be issued by the university and you will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.

Is your IGNOU Exam form submission not successful?

Sometimes while making fee payment online for Ignou exam form submission, the amount got deducted but the form submission status do not get clear. So, what to do in this case. Below, we have provided few steps which students have to follow to complete their exam form submission process.These are as follows:

Step 1: If the student is not able to get acknowledgement successfully after making payment, then he/she is advised to wait for 48 hours to check his/ her Ignou exam form status.

Step 2: If the exam form status does not show anything even after 48 hours, then the student is advised to re-submit the examination form.
Step 3: The refund of the first time failed exam form submission process will be refunded automatically by the Payment Gateway within 48 hours. In case, the amount do not get refund automatically, the candidates can apply separately for the refund of examination fee.

IGNOU Exam Form Submission Status

After 24 hours of successfully submitting the application form, the students can check their exam form status online.It should be noted that they will be able to check the status after 24hrs leaving the day of submission, weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and Holidays.

It is important to check the status as it will give the confirmation to student that his/ her examination form and fee has been successfully reached to the university.
