IGNOU Hall Ticket

IGNOU Hall Ticket

Ignou Hall Ticket is issued to the students ten days before the commencement of term end examination. The University publishes the hall ticket twice in a year i.e. during the June and December examination.

The exam form submission process starts on 1st March for June exams. For December exams, the application form submission starts on 1st September.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University issues the hall ticket to students via post. If any of the students do not receive it at home before the start of the examinations, then he/she does not need to be worried about it.

The Ignou Hall Ticket contains the information about course codes, venue, date, timing, etc to appear in the exam.

It is very important to bring the hard copy of admit card along with you in the examination hall. Students can download it from the university official website. They can take print out of it and bring it along with them in the examination hall.

The university has also instructed all the examination centres to allow students to appear in the examination even if they do not possess the admit card i.e. Examination Intimation Slip if their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.

Students also have to bring the valid  Identity card issued by the university in the examination hall as well. As it will make sure that you are the same person attending the exam to whom hall ticket has been issued.
