IGNOU Online Admission Jan 2019
In Indira Gandhi National Open University, learners can fill up admission application form online by sitting at their homes in both January and July academic cycles.The Ignou online admission process for January 2019 session has been started from 7th November 2018.
At present, the university is offering online admission facility for those programmes only which come under the common prospectus except for few disciplines for which the admission is provided on the basis of merit and entrance test.

Last date of Ignou Jan Admission 2019
Below, we have provided the important dates for July session admission in Indira Gandhi National Open University. The dates are as follows:
- For Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelors and Master degree programmes, the last date of admission is 31st Dec, 2018
Before applying for admission, the students must download the soft copy of Ignou prospectus from the website and read it thoroughly to understand the programme structure.
The soft copy of the prospectus is available free of cost for downloading but the students will be charged with an amount of Rs. 100/- as processing fee along with the course fee.

How to apply for IGNOU Online Admission?
As we already mentioned above that the interested learners can apply for admission by sitting at home. Before applying for admission through online mode, the applicants need to register themselves on the admission portal.
As soon as the applicants register themselves at the admission portal, they need to log in the system using their user ID and password. After getting logged in, they have to upload the required documents and fill up the application form.
In the next step after submitting the application form, the learners need to pay the programme fee online using the online payment facility by making use of Debit/ Credit Card.
Note: It should be noted that the applicants do not need to send the printed copy of the Admission Form to the Regional Centre.
IGNOU Admission Confirmation
After submitting their admission form online, the students will be able to track the progress of their admission within a time duration of one or two weeks through university official website.
As soon as their admission is confirmed, the applicant will be notified by sending the message on their registered mobile number and email ID with the System.
In the case of online admission system, it takes the same time for Ignou admission confirmation as taken by the university for the offline system.

- Please visit the website at https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/
- The prospective learners need to register themselves at above mentioned URL by entering their details, Username and password.
- Logged in to the system using the User Id and Password.
- Upload the required documents, Photograph and Signature.
- Fill up the admission form for the chosen course and pay the fee online using your debit or credit card.
- Take the print out of the application form for future reference.
