For the student’s convenience, We have mentioned below the Ignou Bachelor of Education admission eligibility criteria:

✅ Basic Eligibility Requirements:

• Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, or Humanities
• OR Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto

👩‍🏫 Who Can Apply?

The following categories are eligible to apply for the IGNOU B.Ed (ODL) Programme:

• (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education
• (ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode

📌 Reservation & Relaxation:

• 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD as per Central Government rules
• EWS reservation applicable as per Central Government guidelines
• Reservation for Kashmiri Migrants and War Widow candidates will be provided as per University rules👩‍🏫 Who Can Apply?The following categories are eligible to apply for the IGNOU B.Ed (ODL) Programme:
  • (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education

❗ Note:

• Master’s Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for academic studies at IGNOU

📝 Entrance Test:

• Admission is based on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU at the national level

📄 Documents Submission:

• Submit the filled-in application form with self-attested copies of documents as specified in the Entrance-cum-Admission Form
• Original documents must be submitted later for verification after receiving the offer letter for admission
