The students usually remain confused about the timings of their concerned Ignou study centre. I would like to recommend the students that they should consult their respective regional centres to know about the Ignou study centre timings.

In India, there are a number of regional centres and study centres established by Indira Gandhi National Open University. Usually, the many study centres open at around 3 PM and closed around 7 PM.

There is a reason behind opening the study centres at late timings by the University. This is because regular colleges and universities close around 3 PM. So, the students can easily come to the study centres without any time clash issues.

On Saturday and Sunday, the study centres remain open for the students as most of the students in IGNOU are working professionals. They do not get time to visit the centres on weekdays so they can come on the weekend to attend classes or if they have any query.

Closed Days: On Monday and Tuesday, the Ignou study centres remains officially closed.
