About Ignou Bachelor Degree Programmes (BDP): 

The Indira Gandhi National Open university offers admission in its bachelor degree programmes (BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BSW, BTS) twice in a year. January and July are two sessions for admission in any of these courses.

The minimum duration to complete the degree is 3 years. However, the students can complete it within a maximum duration of 6 years.

The total fee is Rs.7200/-. Students have to pay the fee @Rs.2400/- year. For B.Sc, the total fee is Rs.12,600/- which has to be paid @Rs.4200/- per year.

Students should possess 10+2 basic qualification to be eligible for admission.

The students who do not have formal 10+2 qualification can also apply for admission to any of these programmes except B.Sc., if they complete Bachelors Preparatory Programme (BPP) from Ignou.
